These matching vintage Polar Ware canisters were designed for medical use and are marked "Allegheny Metal". One is 8 inches tall by 6.5 inches wide and holds 21cups of liquid (168 ounces). The smaller one is 6.5 inches tall and holds 7 cups (56 ounces). They are in great vintage condition - a few light scratches and marks, but they are sturdy and the lids fit snugly, although they wouldn't be water-tight.
